WHAT YOU'LL DO

 

The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of projects within the Innovative Learning Assessment Sciences organization. This role will work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to analyze project data, develop reports, track progress, and provide valuable insights that contribute to project success. Thie role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail to enable the incumbent to identify areas for improvement and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

 

WHERE YOU’LL WORK

 

This position will work on a hybrid schedule from our Leawood, KS office location preferred. Remote candidates will be considered within the United States.

 

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME

 

  • Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports, to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available to stakeholders
  • Assist Learning Content Managers (LCMs) in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and identify potential risks or issues that may impact project timelines or budgets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project data and facilitate communication and coordination among team members
  • Develop and maintain project dashboards and reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into project status and performance
  • Assist in the development and implementation of project management tools, templates, and processes to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness
  • Analyze project data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can be used to improve project performance
  • Conduct research and gather relevant information to support project decision-making and problem-solving
  • Support LCMs in the preparation of presentations and reports for executive leadership and stakeholders
  • Stay current with industry best practices and project management methodologies to continuously improve project analysis and reporting processes
  • Provide early alert analysis on potential projects at risks
  • Track and assess the LCM’s team's compliance with key project reporting KPIs

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

 

  • High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in project analysis, project coordination, or similar preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Proficiency in using project management software and tools to track and report project progress
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, and Smartsheet
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall is a plus
  • Professional certifications (or a desire to work toward certification) in project management, such as CAPM or PMP, are desirable
