WHAT YOU'LL DO  

As an Order and Billing Specialist specific to contracts and quoting, you will support ATI clients by managing B2B client relationships and providing sales support within your region. You will oversee day-to-day account maintenance for clients using our products and services, ensuring they receive accurate account information, quoting and pricing. Acting as a trusted adviser, you will facilitate the deal process by liaising with departments such as finance, sales, sales operations, legal, and pricing to resolve complex contracts.

WHERE YOU’LL WORK  

This position will work a hybrid schedule from our Leawood, KS office. Fully remote considered for the highly qualified candidate. 

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME 

  • Cultivate internal relationships with all levels of the sales organization. 
  • Responds to Customer inquiries/information needs, and provides positive, courteous service to Customer/Sales Personnel. 
  • Serve as the trusted adviser to Sales on specified Deal and Quote related matters. 
  • Work as the primary liaison between multiple groups, such as finance, sales ops, legal, pricing, to help facilitate the deal process. 
  • Answers questions regarding products, pricing, and proof of delivery. 
  • Works with the appropriate internal department to process invoices, quotes, returns, and payments. 
  • Collaborate with sales / contract administration / finance to identify acceptable solutions, resolve complex contract issues, and develop solutions in compliance with business practices and policies. 
  • Works with the shipping department to expedite or ensure timely delivery of scheduled shipments. 
  • Maintain a daily phone shift for a dedicated faculty line, if assigned. 
  • Communicates pertinent customer concerns or issues to Sales Personnel. 
  • Maintains client information in D365, our Customer Relationship Management tool. 
  • Works with our Enterprise Apps team to design and test both user interface and user experience (UX/UI) for new products and processes. 
  • Set up and maintain product and pricing for new and existing clients. 
  • Create client invoices while adhering to special statement handling for specific clients. 
  • Maintain and enter monthly billing into billing system. 
  • Respond to customer inquiries, accept/enter payments from customers and facilitate customer returns. 
  • Input daily activities and orders into CRM, including but not limited to client billings, queueing orders. 
  • Review and interpret incoming contracts. 
  • Analyze quarterly and yearly revenue reports to ensure forecasting accuracy.  

WHAT YOU'LL NEED 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred. High school education or GED required. 
  • 2+ years of experience in account management or Deal Desk function for a large sales team, customer service, or sales support. 
  • Solid understanding and experience with CPQ (configure, price, quote) tools and quote to cash process knowledge 
  • Experience using D365 CRM, Canvas, or comparable CRM/CPQ tools is required 
  • Experience with Great Plains, Tableau and Microsoft office proficiency preferred 
  • Experience with reporting creation and analysis 
  • Self-motivated, critical thinker with prior experience collaborating across Sales, Legal, and Finance 
  • Technical aptitude 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications - Word, Outlook, D365, Excel, PowerPoint 
  • Collaborative participation in identifying and suggesting possible resolution in system gaps and processes to better streamline efficient workflow 
  • Positive team player and effective communicator with all levels of management and cross-functional organizations 
  • Proven organizational skills and time management skills 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Previous leadership experience 

 

HIRING RANGE

The current full-time, annualized base pay hiring range for this role is $38,500.00-$55,000.00. In accordance with applicable state laws, we are providing the expected pay range for this position. Individual compensation will be determined by various factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, current business needs and local market factors. Most regular, full-time employees are eligible to participate in an Ascend incentive bonus or sales plan.
