WHAT YOU'LL DO

 

The Sales Operations Analyst plays a critical role in enabling the success of the nursing category through data management, reporting, analytics, and operational support. This position is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and quality of sales data, while ensuring account and organizational data are consistently updated and governed. The analyst delivers timely business insights and contributes to key processes that drive sales performance and informed decision-making. Serving as a trusted partner to the field, this role resolves data-related inquiries, supports forecasting activities, and provides reporting that enhances visibility into business results. Success in this role requires strong analytical capabilities and the ability to transform data into actionable insights that improve performance and support strategic objectives.

This position will work a hybrid schedule from our Leawood, KS office or remotely within the United States

 

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME

 

  • Maintain the accuracy, quality, and integrity of account, territory, and organizational data within the data warehouse and CRM.
  • Perform routine and ad hoc data pulls, reporting, and analysis to support sales leadership and operational initiatives.
  • Assist with account assignments, territory alignment, account mapping, and ongoing data maintenance activities.
  • Provide day-to-day support to the sales organization by responding to data, reporting, dashboard, and account-related inquiries.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of recurring reports, scorecards, dashboards, and other sales performance metrics.
  • Support quarterly business reviews and forecast meetings through data gathering, analysis, reporting, and presentation preparation.
  • Track and report on key sales incentive programs as needed
  • Assist with annual planning activities, including territory management, account assignments, goal-setting support, and organizational planning.
  • Support the development, testing, validation, and maintenance of reporting dashboards and analytical tools.
  • Document processes and reporting methodologies to promote consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, automate routine tasks, and enhance reporting accuracy.

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university required. Degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years progressive business experience.  Prior analytical, sales support, or business operations experience preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting, analysis, data manipulation, and working with large datasets. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and emerging productivity tools.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, systems, technologies, and processes.
  • Passion for continuous improvement, process optimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, automate routine tasks, and improve business processes.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

 

HIRING RANGE

The current full-time, annualized base pay hiring range for this role is $63,300.00-$90,530.00. In accordance with applicable state laws, we are providing the expected pay range for this position. Individual compensation will be determined by various factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, current business needs and local market factors. Most regular, full-time employees are eligible to participate in an Ascend incentive bonus or sales plan.
