WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Senior Manager Product Operations , you will lead a team of specialists focused on improving efficiency and productivity within the product management organization. You will develop and implement processes to optimize the product development lifecycle, introduce AI-driven tools for competitive analysis and market insights, and manage key business rhythms such as product reviews and annual planning. Additionally, you will create dashboards and reports to track product throughput, provide regular industry updates, and serve as the primary point of contact for planning and delivery inquiries in collaboration with the PMO.

This position will work a hybrid schedule from our Burlington, MA office location preferred. Remote will be considered within the United States.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME
- Define metrics to measure the speed at which products traverse the product development lifecycle, from idea to general availability, including the interim steps. Create dashboards that highlight gains as well as areas requiring improvement. Implement enhancements to the process to shorten TTM.
- Leverage AI tools and workflows to simplify the function of product operations and product management by testing AI tools and introducing them to the team in order to help it become an AI-native organization.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams in the execution of product operations strategies, implementing process improvements and providing operational support.
- Researches latest updates from market thought leaders, AI experts and competitive announcements and packages in the form of a regular newsletter.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in related fields, such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or other areas preferred. High school diploma or GED required.
- 7+ years of combined experience in product management, technical product management, business management, project management, or consulting, preferably in a technical or software-related environment.
- 3+ years people management preferred
- Experience working in an agile environment is strongly preferred.
- Experience using AI tools to simplify workflows.
- Familiarity with data analysis, market research related to SaaS/technology trends, and customer feedback methodologies to inform capability decisions.
- Proven ability in managing a complex strategic roadmap with multiple dependencies.
- Proven communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with product teams, engineers, content teams, and other stakeholders.
- Proven expertise in capability area for which he/she is responsible (e.g., Assessment, Instructional Content).
- Strong program management skills and hands-on experience with relevant tools
- Indpeth knowledge and understanding of agile frameworks
- Experience implementing AI solutions to improve workflows
- Combines strong business and finance/ budgeting acumen with deep understanding of the customer/markets being served.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle and product management practices
- Proven expertise in documenting process and making critical process improvements
- Ability to effectively navigate and influence across a matrixed organization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management skills to oversee execution of process improvements and overall workflow
- Demonstrated leadership to attract, retain and manage high performing team
